If clicking the export button doesn't start a download, here's what to check.
Browser Blocking Downloads
Some browsers block downloads from sites you haven't downloaded from before. Check for a blocked download notification in the address bar or at the bottom of your browser window. Allow the download from app.maiaos.ai and try again.
Try a Different Browser
If the download still won't start, try a different browser. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all support MAIA's export format. Ensure your browser is up to date.
Export Button Shows an Error
If the export button displays an error message, your rehearsal may have passed its retention window. MAIA generates export files on request rather than storing them, so once a rehearsal is deleted — 24 hours after your last activity, or at most 7 days from when it started — there is nothing left to generate from, and you would need to run a new rehearsal.
File Downloads But Won't Open
MAIA exports two file types:
- Written Report — an HTML file. Open it in any browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Click "Save as PDF" if you need a PDF version.
- Visual Intelligence — a self-contained HTML file. Open it in any browser. It works offline after download — no internet required to view it.
If the file appears corrupted or empty, try downloading again — intermittent network issues can cause incomplete downloads.
