Zero Data Retention (ZDR)

MAIA does not store your decision data. This is by design, not by accident.

What Happens During a Rehearsal

When you run a decision rehearsal, your data — decision description, uploaded documents, connected source data, and all analysis outputs — exists only in your active session. It is held inside a Cloudflare Durable Object bound to your session ID, and it lives only inside that rehearsal — it is permanently deleted with it. Nothing is kept afterward or used for anything else.

What Happens After

When your session ends (you close it, or it is deleted 24 hours after your last activity — at most 7 days after it started), all session data is permanently purged. Uploaded documents, extracted text, connected source data, pipeline context, and chat history are deleted from the Durable Object storage.

There is also a hard 24-hour time-to-live on every session. Even if a close event doesn't fire, the session is automatically purged after 24 hours.

What About Connected Sources?

When MAIA fetches data from your Google Drive, Salesforce, or other connected sources, that data is cached in Cloudflare KV with a 24-hour TTL. After 24 hours, the cache entries are automatically deleted. No connector-fetched content is written to permanent storage.

What About Exports?

Your Written Report and Visual Intelligence file are generated at the end of the rehearsal and delivered to your browser for download. Once you download them, they're yours. MAIA does not retain a copy after your session ends.

What MAIA Does Store

MAIA stores your account information (email, name), billing records (your Decision Rehearsal purchase history), and authentication credentials (password hash, passkey public keys). This is standard account data — not your decision content.
