Exporting Your Results

After the Decision Brief, you can generate a complete export package — downloadable files containing the full analysis from your rehearsal. This is yours to keep, share with your team, and reference as long as you need.

What's Included

The export package contains two primary deliverables:

Written Decision Brief — A board-ready prose document covering: executive summary, decision context, dependencies, structural analysis, disruption scenarios, propagation chains, counterbalance measures, verdict and conditions, and Navigator action paths. Opens in any browser, printable as PDF. This is the document you'd share with your board or leadership team.

Visual Intelligence Report — A single interactive HTML file with eight visual cards:

The Visual Intelligence file is a single self-contained HTML file. No software to install. No account needed to view it. Works on any device. Works offline after you download it.

How to Download

When you confirm the export, MAIA generates your files in two steps:

  1. Step 1 — The Written Report is generated (this takes 15–30 seconds as MAIA synthesizes the full rehearsal into board-ready prose)
  2. Step 2 — The Visual Intelligence HTML is built from the report and session data (this is near-instant)

Each step gives you a download button. Click to save the file to your device.

How Long Exports Are Accessible

Export files are generated when you ask for them and download to your device. MAIA does not store copies — there is no file waiting on our servers. While your rehearsal is still available — 24 hours after your last activity, and at most 7 days from when it started — you can reopen it from your Dashboard and generate the files again. After that the rehearsal is permanently deleted in accordance with MAIA's Zero Data Retention policy, and nothing remains to generate them from — only the copies you have already saved.

Download your files while your rehearsal is still available — MAIA keeps no copies. Once your rehearsal's retention window ends, the files can no longer be regenerated — only the copies you have saved remain.

Sharing Your Results

Both files are designed for sharing. The Written Report reads like a professional analyst's brief — no technical jargon, no internal references. The Visual Intelligence file opens in any browser on any device. You can email them, share them in a board packet, or store them in your own document management system.

MAIA's language standard ensures that all outputs are positioned as decision support — never as advice, recommendations, or binding commitments. This makes the documents safe to share with compliance, legal, and governance stakeholders.
