Biometric Login (Passkeys) Management

Passkeys let you sign in with your fingerprint, face, or security key instead of typing a password. You manage them from the Settings page.

Viewing Your Passkeys

Dashboard → Settings → Security section.

You'll see a list of your registered passkeys. Each entry shows the device name you chose when you registered it and when it was added.

Adding a New Passkey

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security
  2. Click "Add Passkey"
  3. Enter a device name (e.g., "My MacBook" or "Office PC") — this is just a label so you can identify which device it is later
  4. Your browser prompts for biometric authentication — Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or Windows Hello depending on your device
  5. Complete the biometric prompt — the passkey is registered immediately

You can register passkeys on multiple devices. Each device gets its own passkey.

Removing a Passkey

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security
  2. Find the passkey you want to remove in the list
  3. Click "Remove" next to it
  4. Confirm the removal

Lost a Device?

If you lose a device that has a registered passkey:

  1. Sign in on another device using your password or a different passkey
  2. Go to Settings → Security
  3. Remove the passkey for the lost device
  4. Add a new passkey on your current device

The lost device's passkey cannot be used by anyone else — passkeys are protected by your device's biometric lock. But removing it is good security hygiene.
