How Industry Detection Works
You never select an industry manually. When you describe your decision at the start of a rehearsal, MAIA auto-detects the industry from your description and loads the corresponding agents, compliance rules, dependency taxonomies, and cascade models. If MAIA cannot confirm a specific industry, it activates a Generic/Cross-Industry mode with maximum-caution compliance rules.
Cross-Industry Decisions
Many real decisions touch multiple industries — a healthcare system acquiring a technology company, a manufacturer entering direct-to-consumer retail. MAIA detects cross-industry scope and loads the compliance rules and dependency models for all impacted industries. The compliance audit log tracks which industry rules applied at each stage.
