When you run "Audit My LinkedIn Presence," MAIA produces a scorecard that evaluates each element of your profile or company page against confirmed LinkedIn specifications.
The Scoring System
GREEN — Meets or exceeds the confirmed specification. No action needed.
YELLOW — Partially meets the spec. An improvement opportunity exists with a data-backed recommendation.
RED — Missing, below threshold, or significantly misaligned. Includes the confirmed spec, your current state, the gap, and a specific recommended action.
How Elements Are Weighted
Critical weight: Headline, About section, company page completeness — highest confirmed impact on search and distribution.
High weight: Profile photo, Featured section, Experience, Skills, posting activity, domain verification.
Medium weight: Background banner, Recommendations, CTA button, Products/Services sections.
Low weight: Custom URL — matters for SEO but minimal algorithmic impact.
What Each Score Entry Contains
For YELLOW and RED items:
- Confirmed spec — What LinkedIn's confirmed specification is (with knowledge base citation)
- Current state — What was observed or reported about your current element
- Gap — The specific difference between spec and current state
- Recommended action — A specific, data-backed fix citing the performance data
Profile vs. Company Page
Personal profile: Photo, banner, headline, About, Featured, Experience, Skills, Recommendations, Custom URL, Activity
Company page: Logo, banner, About, domain verification, completeness, posting frequency, CTA button, Products/Services
Acting on Results
Start with RED items — prioritize by weight (critical before low). Save your results and re-audit after making changes.
